Although Sridevi’s name has been linked with many actors. But it is said that in the beginning when the actress was giving hit films one after the other, she became very close to actor Mithun Chakraborty. In those days, Sridevi had signed producer Boney Kapoor’s film ‘Mr. India’ and then speculations started that Sridevi and Boney Kapoor were having an affair.
But when this news reached Mithun, he got very angry and for this, Sridevi even tied a Rakhi on Boney Kapoor’s wrist to convince Mithun. So that Mithun Chakraborty could believe that there was nothing like this between him and Boney.
